General Cardiologist and Electrophysiologist Dr Justin Ng specialises in device therapies such as implantation of permanent pacemakers, cardiac defibrillators and biventricular pacemakers.

Committed to providing patients with the highest cardiology expertise, Dr Ng’s clinical endeavours include general cardiology and heart failure management and treatment, device therapy and implantation, follow up and troubleshooting of pacemakers, loop recorders, internal cardiac defibrillators and cardiac resynchronisation therapy, management of simple and complex arrhythmias: SVT, atrial fibrillation, atrial flutter, PVCs and ventricular tachycardia-Inherited channelopathies and arrhythmia syndromes.

A leader in his field, in 2017 Dr Ng became the first doctor to implant a subcutaneous defibrillator in a patient at Joondalup Health Campus.

He undertook his general cardiology training and an Echocardiography fellowship at Perth’s Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital, and further trained in Electrophysiology at St Paul’s Hospital in Vancouver through the University of British Columbia and the Brigham & Women’s Hospital through Harvard Medical School in Boston.
