Dr Kong Chak Ng

(MBBS FRACP)

In my role as Rheumatologist I provide the highest standard of care possible when it comes to the non-surgical evaluation and treatment of rheumatic diseases and conditions.

I thrive on sharing the latest research and advances with my patients, colleagues and general practitioners.

My specialty areas include rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, connective tissue disease, osteoporosis, osteoarthritis and biological agents. I also perform joint injections and diagnostic aspirations and offer a fully integrated service to rapidly adopt a treatment plan for every person under my care.

I undertook an undergraduate medical degree at the University of Singapore and after graduating in 1970 I completed further training at Royal London Hospital’s rheumatic unit. The following year I spent researching clinical rheumatology at the Edmonton Hospital University of Alberta. Before starting in private practice in Perth in 1981, I spent a year in Royal Perth Hospital’s immunology unit.

My commitment to my profession has never waivered and my expertise in the comprehensive and holistic management of patients will always involve an accurate diagnosis and a shared understanding of the illness and treatment program, with the ultimate aim of ensuring quality of life.

My entire family has embraces my passion for healing and I now have three children who are medical specialists, and I am kept busy with five wonderful grandchildren.
